'Fight Song' singer to play post-match Rowdies concert

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Get ready to sing your hearts out to the empowerment anthem "Fight Song" after the Tampa Bay Rowdies final match versus the Ottawa Fury FC on October 22.

Singer and songwriter Rachel Platten will take the stage in a post-match concert for the Rowdies' Fan Appreciation Night around 10:00 p.m. at Al Lang Stadium.

Fight Song, which has racked up 228 million views on YouTube, has been used as the official song of the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, converted into a KidzBop version and popped up in a Ford ad. The song has been downloaded more the 2 million times in the United States.

Fans can enjoy the concert free as it is included in the price of admission to the 7:30 p.m. match between the Rowdies and Fury FC. For those who want to just attend the concert, post-match concert tickets are also available for $25 and a family four-pack for $75.
