Billy, a young boy in Walton County, made remembering law enforcement officers an emergency by calling 911 to invite deputies and staff over for Thanksgiving.
"With all the bad calls we take on a daily basis this one was a welcomed happy call that made all of us smile," said Lead Communications Officer Monica Webster.
Billy got a visit from Deputies Damon Byrd and Deputy Aaron Ethridge who gave him a sheriff’s badge and let him sit in their patrol cars.
The sheriff's office does not want to encourage using 911 for this purpose, but says it was honored at the invitation.
"Thank you, Billy, for making all of our days here at WCSO," the sheriff's office said on Facebook.
