HCSO looking for homicide suspect in shooting

TAMPA -- A homicide following an argument happened at around 8:50 PM on Sept. 5, 2016, at 2148 136st Ave. E. 

Carlos Taylor, 33, was sitting outside with Matthew Wissmann, 31, at the location of the incident when a black male suspect approached them.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the suspect returned to the scene with a gun after an argument he had with the two men and began shooting at them. 

The suspect is being described as a black male around 6'2", estimated to be around 160-170 Ibs, with a short beard. He was last seen wearing a red and black baseball hat with a red tank top or jersey with blue or black shorts. He was also seen riding a bicycle. 

Wissmann was pronounced dead at the scene and Taylor was transported to Tampa General Hospital to be treated for a gunshot injury. Taylor later told authorities that they knew of the male suspect.

Authorities are looking into the case to see if it is drug-related.
