I-4 ramp reopens after tractor trailer overturns

Tampa, Florida -- A ramp leading to Interstate 4 is back open, after a tractor trailer overturned earlier on Friday.

The Exit 10 westbound ramp from State Road 579 (Mango Road), reopened around 2 p.m.

The tractor trailer was hauling fertilizer when it overturned while turning left onto the ramp.

The driver, 55-year-old Agustin Chavez of Mulberry, was taken to Tampa General Hospital with serious injuries.

The vehicle has since been removed, and crews have cleaned up the fertilizer spill.

Westbound I-4 traffic is not affected.
