Iraq war vet's custom motorcycle stolen

Riverview, Florida -- Hillsborough deputies are searching for a custom-built motorcycle that had been stolen from an Iraq war veteran.

Deputies say that just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, an unknown suspect stole the 2005 Honda CBR 600 while it was parked in the River View Apartments.

The motorcycle has several custom features, including colored "Repsol" stickers affixed on both the side and front of the vehicle. It has Florida tag 2299NX.

The motorcycle is owner by 27-year-old Paul Rivera, a disabled veteran who served in Iraq.

Anyone with any information reference the suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at or text "CSTB plus your tip" to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
