Adam Matos found guilty in quadruple murder trial

Adam Matos faces death for killing his son's mother, her parents and her new boyfriend.

DADE CITY Fla. – A jury has reached a verdict in the trial of a man who admitted to killing four people in Hudson in 2014.

Adam Matos said the killings were in self-defense and he feared for his life.

Matos shot and killed his ex-girlfriend and her father, and bludgeoned her mother and new boyfriend to death in Hudson three years ago.

Jurors were released for the day.  They'll return for sentencing on Monday.  Matos could face the death penalty.
