Tampa, Florida -- Jury selection is underway in the case of a man accused of throwing his girlfriend's baby out of a moving car, onto I-275.
Richard McTear Junior faces first degree murder charges in the death of the 3-month-old. He was not the baby's father.
Almost one year ago, the judge ruled a mistrial in the case following testimony from Jasmine Bedwell, the baby's mother. She testified about a conversation that was in-admissible.
Jury selection is expected to take most of the week.
