Law firm could be disciplined for misconduct

Tampa, Florida -- More than a year after the trial between battling Bay area disc jockeys ended, the fallout continues.

Robert Adams, Stephen Diaco, and Adam Filthaut have all been served a notice of probable cause for misconduct and minor misconduct. All represented Bubba The Love Sponge in a defamation trial filed by competing personality Todd "MJ" Schnitt.

Schnitt's attorney, Phil Campbell, was arrested and charged with a DUI during the trial after having drinks with a paralegal who worked for Bubba's defense team.

Charges against Campbell were dropped last July and his attorney is hoping the bar will force the men to admit that they were behind the incident.

"The conduct of these lawyers was despicable and reprehensible and we will eagerly look forward to Mr. Diaco, Mr. Adams and Mr. Filthaut publicly testifying under oath," said Campbell's attorney John Fitzgibbons.
