Lightning strike causes Odessa house fire

Hillsborough County, Florida -- Fire Rescue is investigating a house fire that appears to have been cause by a lightning strike.

The home is on Landsman Avenue in Odessa and the occupants were alerted of the fire by their neighbors. When fire rescue arrived they found the fire contained to the attic and were able to extinguish it without injuries to civilians or personnel.

It was determined that this fire appears to be caused by a possible lightening strike.
