Bradenton, Florida -- The Greer family was handed a citation, mentioning mold, mildew and the need for paint on the outside of their home. So the family picked up cans of paint and brushes, and went to work painting an American flag across the front of the entire home.
However, they also faced a number of other code issues with the house that were supposed to be corrected by Monday, June 16. Monday morning, 10 News learned they missed the deadline to make major repairs to the home and did not pass inspection.
They will now have to go in front of code enforcement for a hearing Tuesday afternoon.
