A wave of energy is moving by this morning and will bring with it scattered showers and storms. The best rain chance will be from 6:30am through 10am then the rain will begin to end and the sun will pop back out. A cold front moves through this afternoon and begins to usher in some cooler and drier air. There will be a few clouds and sprinkles along the coast tonight and early tomorrow as the relatively cooler air moves over the warmer Gulf waters.
Highs will be chilly the next few days topping out in the low 70s with lows in the 40s and 50s and it will be breezy.
Today: Morning showers and storms followed by some clearing this afternoon. Rain will be heavy at times with a 60% chance this morning. Winds will blow W-NW 10-15 mph with highs in the mid 50s.
Tonight: Mainly clear inland, but cloudy at times along the coast. Low clouds off of the Gulf of Mexico will try to produce a stray sprinkle, but rain chances are slight. Lows will cool to the low 50s.
