Keep St. Petersburg Local started the Free Hug Fest in 2012 to change the image of St. Petersburg being the saddest city in America.

Visit the organization's Facebook page to find "hugs maps" and "volunteer hugging stations." Several people, including St. Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster, will be giving out hugs.
