ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- We know it's important to teach kids about bullying, but adults can learn a thing or two about workplace bullying.
That was the goal of an anti-bullying workshop hosted in St. Petersburg on Saturday at Tim McCahan After School Sports.
A national expert taught the families how to create plans against physical, cyber, and verbal bullying.
One example, teaching them how to document each incident.
"I want to know what's going on in my kid's lives at school and I want to make sure that they are not being treated poorly and they're not treating others poorly," said Christina Atamian, a parent who attended the event.
"They have to have the child understand that they have the green light and the green light is not to address the bully. The green light is to go get help," said Tim McCahan, owner of the sports school.
