Pasco woman charged with renting homes she didn't own

A 43-year-old Pasco County woman is facing charges after she allegedly rented two homes she did not own.

Patricia Lamp, 43, was arrested for scheming to defraud after pretending to be the owner of two homes -- one in Holiday and New Port Richey.

The victim said she told them she was "renting out the property" for $800 to $850 per month.

The actual owner of the property was unaware of this transaction.

Lamp also had active felony warrants grand theft, unlicensed real estate broker or sales associate in Hillsborough County.
