Pasco County dive team searching lakes for missing, endangered man

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. -- Members of the Pasco County dive team are searching area lakes for a missing and possibly endangered man.

Scott Kurland, a 45-year-old Wesley Chapel resident, left his home around 1:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office. While the on the way out, he apparently made suicidal statements.

The dive team is searching lakes in the area of Boyette Road and Elam Drive, where his vehicle was found later Monday.

He last was seen wearing a black jacket, brown crocs and sweat/pajama pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pasco County's crime tip line at 1-800-706-2488 and reference case No. 17-46013.
