PCSO looking for witness of fatal pedestrian crash

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. -- Pinellas County Sheriff's Office have released video surveillance footage of a witness who may have seen a fatal pedestrian crash around 9:08 PM on Oct. 6, 2016.

The crash occurred when 36-year-old Randal Ripple walked in front of a vehicle on 54th Ave. N. west of 58th St. N in Kenneth City. Ripple was not walking in the crosswalk. Randal may have been impaired.

The driver willingly submitted to a blood test and there was no impairment suspected. 

A witness to the scene was spotted exiting the vehicle to view the crash but drove away without providing personal information. The witness is being described as a white male in his 50's or 60's with a medium build, around 5'5", with a baseball cap and dark pants on. His vehicle is being described as a white four-door hatchback.
