Lealman, Florida — A community is trying to recover in Pinellas County after several fires break out.
Bystanders say they heard an explosion before seeing flames shoot into the air at the Palm Haven Mobile Home Park on 58th Avenue North in Lealman.
One man was taken to the hospital.
All that's left of Unit 434 is a shell. First responders doused the flames at around 1:20 this afternoon.
Neighbors we spoke with say they smelled wires burning before two units in the park caught fire.
Pinellas County deputies say the owner of Unit 434 was injured, but neighbors say a dog living in the home got out safe.
"I smelled the smoke from inside and I came out and the whole trailer was ablaze and I was worried about both of them, and I spotted Tom ... I came over to make sure he was okay," said neighbor Sandy Robbins.
Emergency workers were on the scene until at least 4 p.m. after a second fire broke out at the mobile home park this afternoon.
Pinellas County deputies say the fire does not look suspicious.
