Lakeland gun store burglarized, 40 weapons stolen

UNINCORPORATED LAKELAND, Fla. -- Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help in finding the suspects involved in a gun store burglary.

Just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning, Titan Arms, located at 5711 South Florida Ave, was burglarized.

Approximately 30 handguns and 10 semi-auto rifles of various styles were stolen.

The suspects broke out a window and burglar bars and quickly removed the firearms and fled the scene. Witnesses observed three black males exit the vehicle and removed the firearms, while the driver remained in the vehicle.

Video surveillance at a nearby business captured the suspect vehicle just prior to the burglary. The suspect vehicle is a 2009 - 2014, gray Ford F-150 extended-cab pickup, with chrome wheels, bumpers, and horizontal slat style grill, with a black tonneau bed cover.
