School buses hit road in Pinellas test run

Largo, Florida -- More than 500 school buses will be back on the roads of Pinellas County on Friday as the district tests out its routes ahead of Monday's return to school.

Expect drivers to follow all of the routes and timing planned for the regular school year, including pausing at bus stops to swing out their stop signs and open their doors.

The drivers will make runs in the morning and afternoon, practicing to carry about one third of the county's 101,000 students.
