If your hands like poking through home décor, then you need to hit the Shabby Chic Vintage Market. This is an annual event at the Tampa Garden Club. There will be antique dealers, original art, handmade items, and floral arrangements. It's both inside and outside the Historic Garden Club on Bayshore Boulevard.
A different type of garden sprouts in Tarpon Springs today as that community goes from Greek to German to celebrate Oktoberfest. There will be German food, oompah music, a costume contest, and of course a Bier Garden.
In St. Pete a growing movement makes it a great afternoon to bike, skate, or stroll.
