Family of Seminole Heights murder victim carry heavy burden of funeral costs

What's making a tough time even harder is Ronald Felton did not carry life insurance, so the family is left to cover all of his funeral expenses after his murder -- and it's money they don't really have.

TAMPA, Fla. -- For the past two weeks, the Felton family has been overwhelmed by forces and emotions ranging from love and support to grief and frustration.

It’s what you can feel all at once when a loved one is violently stolen from your life.

It’s what Reginald and Gloria Felton feel every single day.

Reginald’s twin brother, Ronald, was the fourth person in five weeks to be gunned down in Southeast Seminole Heights. Police have not been able to find the killer.

Adding to the heartache and sorrow Reginald and Gloria feel is the burden of funeral costs for Ronald, who did not carry life insurance.

"We still have a balance, and we would appreciate if we could get any donations," said sister-in-law Gloria Felton, who also pleaded for the community to turn in the killer. "Somebody out there knows who he is.

"They know him."
