Governor Rick Scott came to Tampa to meet with law enforcement after the arrest of the Seminole Heights murder suspect.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Gov. Rick Scott met with the Tampa Police Department and Tampa Bay area law enforcement agencies Wednesday morning to thank them for their efforts in the arrest of the Seminole Heights suspect.

Scott, along with Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan, spoke at the police department Wednesday morning.

"These officers worked tirelessly. They worked around the clock," Scott said. "They didn't get their Thanksgiving, but they did it all because they care about keeping people safe."

Tampa police arrested Howell Emanuel Donaldson III on Tuesday.

Dugan said Wednesday police do not expect any more arrests in the case. Donaldson is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the killings of Benjamin Edward Mitchell on Oct. 9, Monica Caridad Hoffa on Oct. 11, Anthony Naiboa on Oct. 19 and Ronald Felton on Nov. 14 in southeast Seminole Heights.
