Shots fired during Port Richey road rage incident

Pasco Road Rage

Pasco detectives are investigating a road rage incident that occurred in New Port Richey on August 26.

Around 5 p.m. on August 26, the occupants of a white Hyundai Accent left a pharmacy at US 19 and Embassy Boulevard in New Port Richey. They were eventually chased by two vehicles -- a maroon SUV and a black sedan -- after they became involved in a road rage incident.

The white Hyundai was shot at, and its rear window was knocked out. At the intersection of Kingsbridge Road and Coventry Drive the black sedan struck the Hyundai, causing it to loose control. The driver of the Hyundai left his vehicle and shot at the SUV and sedan. The driver then fled on foot.
