Sneak peek of 'Diagon Alley' at Universal Orlando

Orlando, Florida — Potter fans, get ready. The newest addition to Universal Orlando is here.

Diagon Alley, the newest attraction at Universal Studios Orlando, is bringing a world ripped from J. K. Rowling's pages to life.

You even get a chance to become a wizard yourself.

Diagon Alley is even complete with dragon on top of Gringotts, the wizarding bank.

"It's absolutely brilliant. I mean, frightening, but brilliant at the same time," says Warwick Davis who portrayed Griphook and Professor Flitwick in the films.

For members of the Harry Potter cast, it's a homecoming.

"I think when you step through here there really is a certain magic to it, and the kids will really feel that and the fans will really feel that," said Bonnie Wright who portrayed Ginny Weasly.

"They just set the bar so high, they went beyond, beyond, beyond," said Evanna Lynch who portrayed Luna Lovegood. "Until you come here you can't imagine what it feels like."

Inside Gringotts bank you can meet goblins first hand and even go on a new ride called "Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts."

"(The goblins are) brilliant in there," Davis said. "They don't get tired, they don't complain, they don't' want to go to their trailer. They don't need feeding. I mean, that's your ideal goblin right there."

You can use a wand at different areas to become a full fledged wizard and perform a spell with a special movement. You can even follow in Harry's footsteps going through a recreation of Platform 9 and ¾ to get to the Hogwarts Express in Kings Cross station.

"It's really enchanting and amazing and beautifully done," said Helena Bonham Carter.

But she says that dragon's roar..... "I play someone who's supposed to be fearless and yet i'm so easily scared."

It gets her every time.

If Gringotts doesn't suit you, you can go to the Leaky Cauldron for some traditional English grub and of course butter beer. You can even check out your dark wizarding skills in Knockturn Alley.

You will need a Park to Park pass to experience both Universal Harry Potter areas in the same day. A one day pass costs $136.

Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando is set to open July 8.
