SAFETY HARBOR, Florida -- Pinellas County sheriff's deputies are investigating a hit and run involving a motorcycle that injured a teen.
The crash happened at 10th Ave. North and 7th Street North in the Lincoln Highlands subdivision of Safety Harbor, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies say 16-year-old Tiara Craddock was walking with several friends on 7th Street North, heading home, when she was struck by a motorcycle.
Craddock was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
The motorcycle operator fled the scene. Deputies do not have a description of the rider at this time.
