Hillsborough deputies search for woman bank robber

Tampa, Florida - Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a woman in an attempted bank robbery in Sun City Center.

It happened during the noon hour at 4842 Sun City Center Boulevard at Superior Bank. The woman left with some money and reportedly made her getaway in a cab.

The robber was dropped off at the Sun City Wal-Mart. Deputies tracked down the cabbie and are questioning him.

So far, no sign of the robber. She is described as a Hispanic or light-skinned black female in her late 20s to early 30s, 5'3" to 5'5" and about 150 to 160 pounds. She has should length, straight black hair (possibly a wig) and had on heavy makeup. She was last seen wearing a black dress with a white design.
