Oldsmar, Florida - Firefighters from the town of Oldsmar, Pinellas County and The Division of Forestry are on the scene of a 5-acre brush fire off Timber Bay Circle East.
The area is near old Tampa Bay, south of Tampa Road.
The fire is in the same area as a controlled burn started earlier today by workers with The Division of Forestry.
The controlled burn may have jumped a fire line or spread to an unintended area, requiring the need for assistance from local firefighters.
Right now, no one has been injured, no homes have been damaged and there are no evacuations.
