Tampa, Florida — They're the women who find ways to juggle a million jobs at once. They're also willing to help other women along the way, give back to the community and share their secrets to success.

Some of the Bay area's most influential women came together for an awards ceremony in Tampa.

eWomen Network, an international women's business group with 114 chapters including Tampa/St. Petersburg, recognized dozens of local women for their professional and charitable contributions.

10 Connects News Anchor Heather Van Nest was honored to serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.

Maryann Ferenc — Owner, Mise en Place

Maryann has been a passionate advocate for independent businesses since she created her incredible restaurant, Mise en Place, back in 19-86.

She is a visible and powerful presence in Tampa Bay. She also works behind the scenes to support many non-profit groups.

Her friends say you can always tell when Maryann is involved in an event. She adds a special touch—and of course, the food is spectacular!

Maryann has also spearheaded or founded many community groups including America's Second Harvest of Tampa Bay.
