Lakeland, Florida - A Department of corrections officer is in jail after authorities say she tried to buy prescription drugs from an undercover officer in Polk County.

Deborah Frisina was arrested Monday when she drove from New Port Richey to Lakeland to purchase diazepam without a prescription according to deputies.

Frisina and the undercover officer met at the parking lot of a Winghouse restaurant. That's when authorities say they sold her 300 diazepam for $240. She apparantly also asked to purchase Oxycodone.

Frisina is now charged with one count purchase of a controlled substance, one count possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and one count attempted trafficking in oxycondone.
