Tampa, Florida - Hillsborough Animal Services employees are burning the midnight oil tonight, hoping that the 1/2 price adoption fee, family activities and longer hours will end with some shelter residents finding new homes.
"Cats After Dark" runs tonight until 10:00 p.m. and features live music as well as free food, games and contests.
June is Adopt-A-Cat Month and the 1/2 price adoption fee includes shots, spaying or neutering and a micro-chip.
The shelter is located at 440 North Falkenburg Road in Tampa.
