St. Petersburg, Florida - Anyone who has walked in the 3-day, 60 mile Susan B. Koeman breast cancer walk has seen Dusty.

"In 2005, when it came to Tampa, I got pulled into it kicking and screaming. My mother in law was a survivor and my ex-wife said you are going to be part of the crew." Dusty Showers says he reluctantly agreed to take part four years ago.

Now he says, "I fell in love with the event, it is incredible seeing what these people go through for themselves or for loved ones."

The 3-day has now become part of Dusty's life. Every year he sports a pink DD bra and a big cowboy hat, and hundreds run up to take pictures with him.

But this year, it's time to stop handing out the water and take to the streets. Dusty will be walking for the first time. He says he has fears about being able to complete 60 miles, but he says this is just his way of being there for others.

Dusty says, "The fear these women go through, even though they have a lot of friends, they still feel alone." Dusty has even started his own website to help raise money for the 3-day. While most are going for $2300, he is hoping to raise $30,000.
