TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The Iraq War veteran critically injured in a street race involving Hulk Hogan's son has been released from a Tampa hospital two years after the car wreck.
John Graziano left the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital with his mother Wednesday morning.
The 24-year-old suffered a severe brain injury after Nick Bollea crashed into a palm tree in Clearwater in 2007. Graziano was a passenger in the car and will need a lifetime of medical care.
Bollea served five months in jail for causing the crash.
A civil lawsuit filed on Graziano's behalf is seeking millions of dollars to pay for Graziano's care.
