St. Petersburg, Florida -- Two men received non life-threatening injuries in a drive-by shooting in St. Petersburg tonight, police said.
The men were standing in the 3600 block of 6th Avenue south when a SUV occupied by two men slowed down. With no words exchanged, a passenger leaned out the vehicle and opened fire with a handgun, police said.
Both victims were black and the driver and passenger were white, police said.
The names of the victims were not released.
