St. Petersburg, Florida -- A Seminole County man has been arrested for sending sexually explicit messages to a 15 year old Pinellas County girl via a chat room, email and voice mail, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

Jerry L. Foster, 59, of Oviedo, allegedly posed as a 20-year-old man who had online chats with the girl since August.

The child's mother called authorities when she heard inappropriate voice mails from an older man on her daughter's cell phone. Detective set up a sting, leading to Foster's arrest.

Foster, deputies said, was an employee of Orange County, working as a Family Teacher Assistant in a group home for teen boys called Laurel Hill.

He was taken to the Seminole County jail on charges of Certain Use of Computer Service Prohibited and one count for Computer Pornography.
