Deputies: Inmate rubs jail nurse wrong way, faces new charge

Lecanto, Florida -- A teenaged inmate faces a felony battery charge for allegedly rubbing a nurse the wrong way in the medical office of the Cypress Creek Corrections Center.

A staff member told investigators she was reaching up in a cabinet to get additional medication for the inmate when he rubbed his genitals against her right buttock and asked, "Do you need help with that?"

She screamed at him to get out of the medical office and summoned the sheriff's office, according to the arrest affivadit. A witness said he saw Jared Stein, 18, of Lecanto follow the victim into the medical office. Stein denied going into the office or touching the victim.

Stein was cuffed and taken to the county jail without bond.
