
Tampa, FL-- Canterbury defeated Carrollwood Day School, 33-21, to hand Carrollwood its first loss of the season.
Canterbury rode a powerful running game to victory. James Goodwin scored the game's first touchdown, on his way to 186 yards on 13 carries, and 3 touchdowns. Brent O'Neil was right behind Goodwin with 124 yards rushing and 1 touchdown.
The loss was Carrollwood's first of the season, after 8 victories. Canterbury will represent the South Division on the Sunshine State Athletic Conference championship game.
