St. Petersburg, Florida -- British Colonial food with a pint of Guinness, it does not get much better than that.

The Moon Under the Water has been a favorite watering hole in downtown St. Petersburg for over 10 years now, serving up British as well as Indian and Middle Eastern Cuisine. Chef Michael Crippin has created a flavorful menu with everything that you might expect as well as a few surprises.

Located in downtown St. Petersburg on Beach Drive, you can people watch outside or sit at the bar inside with your mates.

Friday and Saturday,  11:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Traditional Fish & Chips
10 oz. cold water cod served with fries, peas and tartar sauce.

"Moon" Fish Fry Basket
with cod, clam strips, coleslaw, fries and tartar sauce.

English Pasty
(turnover) ground beef and vegetables in an herb gravy and wrapped in flaky pastry. Served with peas and choice of rice or fries.

Potato, Onion & Cheese Pasty
served with peas and choice of rice or fries.

Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie
ground soy beef and vegetables topped with mashed potato, tomato and mozzarella cheese. Served with baguette and mixed greens.

Steak & Ale Pie
tender beef and mushrooms in a Bass Ale gravy topped with a flaky pastry served with fries and peas.

British Bangers & Mash
served with baked beans, mashed potatoes and herb beer onion gravy.

Homemade Chicken Pot Pie
choice of fries, rice or vegetables.

ENTREES (All entrees include vegetables & choice of fries, rice or mashed potato)

Jerk Chicken 
two 7 oz. breasts with a lime, coconut and cilantro dipping sauce.

Wild Salmon
8 oz. with choice of honey maple, jerk or lightly blackened.

Tuna Sashimi
sesame-crusted with seaweed salad, wasabi and ginger.

Tuna Steak
with a teriyaki glaze, served over greens.
