Most of the day will be characterized by a good deal of cloudiness with some sun possible on occasion. Chances for a few fast moving sprinkles or a shower will run around 30% through midday.
During the afternoon and heading into our Tuesday evening, I expect to see the chance for squally showers or a thunderstorm increase to near 80% before the day is over. If this scenario unfolds the way I see it, some heavy downpours are a possibility with gusty winds. This is a tricky forecast and will need to monitor trends as they develop.
High temperatures in the low 80s.
Marine Forecast...
Strongest persistent winds will be along our coast and offshore through the day but enough wind will be present inland to keep bay waters on the choppy side. The gulf will continue to see 4 - 6 foot waves near shore with higher waves further out. Winds from the SE then SSE late 15 - 25 knots.
