Pinellas Co., Florida - On Tuesday, Pinellas Co. schools throughout the district will try to teach students tolerance and understanding by "mixing up" their daily routines.

The idea is part of a national project called the Southern Poverty Law Center's Teaching Tolerance Program.

Some of the ways students will be "mixing it up" is by taking a new seat in the school cafeteria, wearing "mixed up clothes," and creating commercials.

Students taking a new seat in the cafeteria remains the most popular idea across the district, with the intentions that students not only learn about tolerance, but make new friends.

Do you think this is a good idea?  Should the district possibly do more to encourage social tolerance?  Comment below and we will post some of the best responses on 10 Connects News at 5 p.m.
