Tampa, Florida - One the latest contestants to sit in the hot seat of Who Wants to be a Millionaire is Tampa Bay's own Kim Burress, a support analyst from Dover wasn't really a game show fan, but she took a shot and auditioned.

"There was a lawyer in front of me and two doctors on the side and they didn't pass the test," said Kim Burress.

She made the final cut and made it past the first round.

"You kind of get into your head a strategy. I think, 'I can get to this level' and when they tell you, 'The questions are a little bit harder,' you're like, 'Oh boy!' " Burress said.

When she reached the $25,000 level, she called her co-worker Jamie Oquindo, who gave her the correct answer.

After winning $25,000 she moved to the next round, where she failed to provide the correct answer and just like that, it was over.

"From what I understand, that's a fair showing and I'm pretty satisfied with that. I'm pretty excited that we have this money and can have some fun with it," Burress said.

The fun will include traveling to see her daughter compete in Motocross.
