Tampa, Florida -- Investigators have charged an Apollo Beach man with trying to kill his wife by setting her on fire.
Christopher Hanney, 44, of Oxford Garden Circle, was arrested Wednesday night on one count of Attempted Murder in the First Degree. He was being held without bond.
His wife, Audrey Mabrey, suffered critical burns and was being treated at Tampa General Hospital.
The sheriff's office said Hanney doused her with a flammable liquid in their home and set her on fire during an argument Tuesday afternoon.
