Port Richey, Florida -- A decomposed body was found today in a wooded area near the USA Flea Market, the sheriff's office said.
Patrons of the flea market noticed a strong smell of decomposition and found the body in a nearby wooded area, not far from a homeless camp, said sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll. It is not known whether the victim was a man or a woman.
The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death and try to identify the remains.
