Tampa, Florida - While Audrey Mabrey clings to life at Tampa General Hospital, friends and strangers are rallying around her.
Investigators say on Tuesday Mabrey's husband doused her with flammable liquid and set her on fire. Christopher Hanney is charged with attempted first-degree murder.
A fund has now been set up for Mabrey and her two young children. You can donate at any Bank of America Branch.
You can also donate clothes and toys for Mabrey's boys. The
HCC SouthShore campus where she is a student is collecting items. Clothing sizes needed: 4T-5T and 18-24 months. Size 3 diapers are also requested.
You can bring donations to the Student Services Center. HCC SouthShore is located at 551 24th Street NE in Ruskin.
