TAMPA, FL -- Three University of Tampa students were involved in a car accident this morning, one is in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital.
According to Tampa Police, the accident happened just after 3:00 am on Davis Islands.
The students were driving on W. Davis Blvd when the driver lost control of the car and hit a house at 523 Erie Ave.
Police say that a female student, seating in the back of the car, has life threatening injuries and taken to TGH.
Police are not releasing the name of the students injured.
Officers are investigating to see if alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
