St. Petersburg, Florida - For the past 15 years bikers have been taking part in the Cookson Toy Run.  After a scenic ride with gifts strapped onto their bikes and hanging out of backpacks the bikers arrive to dole out gifts to hundreds of children who without the presents wouldn't have anything at all to celebrate the holidays.

The 16th annual Cookson Toy Run is scheduled for Sunday, December 6th.

The co-founder of the event, Sheri Brown, appeared on The Morning show. A biker, Chris "Professor" Bailey, also appeared. Bailey is the President of Ruff Ryders of Tampa Bay.

This year's toy ride starts at 10 a.m. at Veteran's Memorial Park which is located at 3602 North U.S. Highway 301 & the By-Pass Canal in Tampa south of the Florida State Fairgrounds. There will be food, an auction and a raffle at that location.

Bikers will leave the park at 1 p.m. for a 20 mile ride which ends at Evans Park around 1:30 p.m. That park is located at 1104 North Kingsway Road in Seffner. It's off Hwy. 92, next to Burnett Middle School.

Organizers say the toy giveaway will start at Evans Park between 1:45 and 2 p.m.
