
Tampa, Florida -- Two men have been sentenced to prison on guilty pleas to drug offenses, the U.S. Attorney's office said Thursday.
Brian Martin, 26, of New Port Richey, received more than 11 years for conspiring to possess with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. He was arrested following a traffic stop for speeding in Brooksville last March.
Todd Howard, 43, of Tarpon Springs received a sentence of up to 5 years for conspiring to cultivate for sale 100 marijuana plants authorities found in three New Port Richey homes in December 2007.
Both appeared Wednesday before U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Kovachevich.
