Valrico, Florida - We know the names Jack Nicholas, Arnold Palmer, even Tiger Woods.

But there is a new golf phenom in the Bay area that has many surprised.

Her name is Latanna Stone. And she is only 8 years old. She is from Valrico. Right now, she is home-schooled by her mother, because touring is currently her life.

She has won a number of championships: the PGA Invitational, 8-year-old division, the US Kids World Championship and first place in the Eaglebrook.

Latanna says golf is her life. And her dad agrees. Michael Stone says he loves being able to spend this time with his daughter doing something they both love.

Latanna is hoping to get picked up by a sponsor, right now that is the missing link in her life.

She's been playing since she was 2 years old and hopes to be playing for many more years.
