MIAMI - While some former NFL stars go to work on their egos and social lives at the Super Bowl, two brothers with Tampa ties are working for some of the less-fortunate.
Former Bucs kicker Martěn Gramatica and his brother Bill (played for USF and the Tampa Bay Storm) joined some of their fellow NFL alumni for a project in Coconut Grove Thursday afternoon.
Working with the "Rebuilding Together" organization, the stars help rehab the home of a man who had 13 children.
The brothers, who grew up around the farms of Hendry County, near Lake Okechobee, didn't mind lending some muscle to move in brand-new appliances or paint the house. But they admitted their biggest help is in getting the community together and raising awareness for the charity.
"Rebuilding Together" helps to rehab nearly 10,000 homes nationwide annually.
This is the 15th year the charity has worked with the NFL. Last year, it helped fix-up homes in West Tampa before Super Bowl XLVIII.
