Poker run: Motorcycle Miles for Moffitt

Rev up your engines for research!

The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa is holding its first annual Motorcycle Miles for Moffitt poker run, Saturday, February 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Organizers hope to have 500 riders. It's $15 for each rider and $5 for additional hands. The best hand wins $500 and the worst, $50.

Dave Andreychuk will be the honorary chair, and Radical Randy and the Street Team will emcee.

All of the proceeds will fund research right here in the Tampa Bay area at the Moffitt Cancer Center.

You can sign up in advance or sign up the morning of the ride at Harley-Davidson of New Port Richey. There will be stops at Moffitt, Harley of Tampa, Clear Channel and Harley of Brandon.

The last bike will leave New Port Richey by 11 a.m.
