New Port Richey, FL -- Bikers from all over the Bay area reved up their engines to help find a cure for cancer.

The 1st Annual Motorcyle Miles for Moffitt Poker Run kicked off this morning in New Port Richey. About 500 bikers took part making several stops around the Bay area including the Moffitt in Tampa.

Many taking part today used the fun afternoon ride as a way to contribute to the prevention and cure of this disease, and to honor those who's lives have been touched by it.

At the end of the poker run was a post race party at Harley-Davidson of Brandon where prizes were given for best and worst poker hand.
